New Design in Seat Weaving!

Tired of the same old patterns when it comes to replacing seats on chairs with seat rails, dowels or rungs? Looking for different designs to use other than the traditional rush, basketweave, and herringbone to weave around those rungs?

Linda Hebert, owner of V. I. Reed & Cane in Rogers, Arkansas has developed and copyrighted a brand new seat weaving design! It’s called Double Diagonal Weave and uses two wide binding cane weavers at a time. This pattern is woven around both on the top and bottom of any chair or footstool that has seat rails, rungs or dowels.

You can find her listing and a link to her site by visiting our Cane and Basket Supplies Directory.
