Rarely did I take a picture after the piece was either stained or painted, for some odd reason. Guess I just wanted to highlight the restoration and wasn’t concerned with the final look, sorry.

Aren’t these antique wicker furniture pieces grand? I really love the Victorian era wicker furniture because of the romantic, soft, flowing lines and heavy embellishments of the curlicues, wooden beads and fancy cane woven backs. Don’t you?

I am in the process of redoing a wicker rocker very similar to the one you have pictured from 1910, but am a little stumped on how to tie off the braid in the middle section without it looking bad or coming undone is the some resource that would show me how to do it? The original was so badly broken I could not tell how it was done.

I have a doll baby buggy which is in good shape but needs cleaning
& new material lining inside, the wicker has never been painted
