Below are three antler basket sculptures that I recently completed and have ready for my two-person art exhibition in November at the MacRostie Art Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
“Autumn Leaves” is woven with space dyed fall colored reed, using a red deer antler spike as a focal point.
“Ying and Yang” is a wall sculpture woven with smoked and natural reed, with two connected white-tail deer antler spikes as the focal point.
“Green Willow Envy” is melon style basket made with a red deer antler and some of the prettiest and greenist wild willow gathered on our property. Isn’t it pretty?
