Richard Saunders is the author of five books on antique wicker furniture, including “Collecting and Restoring Wicker Furniture” — the first book published with a “how-to” chapter on wicker repair. He relocated from California to Savannah, Georgia a few years ago, bringing with him over 35 years of experience in restoring, writing about and appraising antique wicker furniture. Now after many years of hands-on repair, Richard has decided to forgo the day-to-day activities of restoration, but will continue in the wicker field as an expert and appraiser.
